Texas Cheese House is dedicated to the principle that excellent cheese is manufactured in Texas. We carry Texas Artisan Foods from a number of Texas producers.
Our cheeses contain all the full flavors that can best be experienced by stopping by our store and sampling your favorite cheese. Texas artisan cheese making is growing. We create cheese that is wholesome and natural with no added fillers or preservative. The milk we use to make the cheese is hormone and antibiotic free. We support the Texas Department of Agriculture and Dairy Division and are in full compliance of rules, standards and laws deemed to ensure a safe cheese. We do not add dyes to our cheese and our rennet is not from animal source.
Most recently, we have added the fine handmade chocolates and truffles to our store from the Wiseman House Chocolates in Hico, Texas. We have fudge, caramel clusters, almond bark, truffles, toffee, and sipping chocolate.
We are located in the historic district of downtown Lorena, 10 miles south of Waco, TX on Interstate 35.
I am a hand crafting artist. I produce items made from corks: Texas-shaped trivets, boot-shaped wall hangings, wreaths, Christmas trees, ornaments and hat racks all with wine corks, I sew cotton wine gift bags, other gift bags and beaded wine charms and wine bottle toppers. Sometimes I am able to produce antique or vintage wine items in shadow boxes as I come across those items.
