We are expecting food vendors this year, “Hecho en Queso“, and our residential taco truck, “Sylvia’s Tacos“. You’ll also find food at restaurants throughout town. We recommend the Stagecoach Inn. For a list of other restaurants in Salado, check out http://salado.com/dine.cfm
YES, bring money! We take cash, AMEX, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.
Salado has one of the oldest hotels in Texas and it’s a great place to stay. Call the Stagecoach Inn at (254) 947-5111 and tell them you’re going to the Texas Wine & Rogue Art Fest! There are also several great bed & breakfasts and a couple chain hotels too. Find out more with the #VisitSalado app
Or go stay with my friend Pansy!
Yes! There will be plenty of walking, so strollers for young’uns is advised.
Sure! Please keep the dogs on a leash though. One year we had a parrot, as well as one of those cute little hedgehogs, they’re definitely allowed. No cats though–we already have one.
The Texas Wine & Rogue Art Fest is normally held the last whole weekend in March, unless that conflicts with Easter. We don’t want to get in the Easter Bunny’s way, so the festival moves if Easter is on the last weekend of March
This event will be held rain or shine. This is an outdoor event held under tents so be prepared for any kind of Texas weather. If there is a threat to humans, for example tornados, lightning, or frogs falling from the sky, then of course it will be cancelled.
